Creno is founded
 
1992
Creno Impex is established as the Group’s operational structure
 
1995
Creno becomes involved on a national level with customers in the food service industry
Corporate Accounts Management established
 
1997
Creno, which handles the supply function for its members (“Crénistes”), decides to refocus this function around approved suppliers
Centralized payment service is established with del credere surety
Supply Management is created
 
1999
The Group's logistical platform for processed foods is launched at Rungis.
With this tool, Crénistes are able to optimize shipping costs and centralize purchasing
 
2000
Group logistical service is established
 
2001
The Group (42 sites) obtains ISO 9002 and Qualipon’Fel certification
 
2002
Creno Seafood division is established
 
2005
The “Clovis” project – the Group’s common information system – is launched
 
2006 
New Brand
The Merci Maman concept (a fruit-for-kids brand) is launched
The “Creno School” is created with modules for jobs in the Commercial, Logistical and Quality fields
 
 
 

 

Seafood

1998
The Ame Hasle company in Rennes becomes the first Créniste dealing in seafood
 
2002
Creno decides to create a Seafood division and announces its intention to service companies throughout France.
The first 100% seafood companies join Creno (Norocean, Nevafood)
 
2003/2006
Seafood network is strengthened and new members join (Toute la Marée, Belle Marée, Soprolux, CBM Homards Acadiens, Cervera)
 
2005 
ISO 9001 V2000 certification is obtained
 
2006 
A Creno purchasing office is opened at our site in Châteaurenard in charge of imports
 
2007
The Mag Fruits Group creates its seafood subsidiary called Egimer
 
2008
Network is strengthened in Brittany with the Fraîcheur de St Malo company, a subsidiary of the Ame Hasle Group.

 

 

Today, Creno’s seafood division, Creno Marée, includes 18 member companies within France (29 warehouses) with brand-based sales of 125 million euros.
